Revenue remaining after labor—
Labor dollars at your target—
Dollar gap vs. target—
Formula: labor percentage = labor cost ÷ account revenue × 100. Keep the labor-cost definition consistent. If one account uses base wages and another uses loaded labor, the percentages are not directly comparable.

How to interpret the result

A higher labor percentage is not automatically bad and a lower one is not automatically good. Building type, service frequency, supplies, equipment, supervision and price all affect what an account can support. Compare the result with the account's own plan and history, then investigate whether any gap is coming from hours, wage, payroll burden or revenue.
